Carolyn Barr BA Hons I BTEC I VTCT
Carolyn is a qualified Complementary and Sports Massage Therapist and Yoga Coach. As a complementary health practitioner Carolyn supports the process of integration between mind, body and spirit. She is deeply passionate about all her therapies and this passion is evident in the excellent care extended to each client.
Her treatments range from Ayurveda therapies, hot and cold stone treatments, remedial massage, reflexology, aromatherapy and Shiatsu.
In 1999 she trained and qualified as a Yoga Instructor with the Yoga Therapy and Training Centre (YTTC) in Northern Ireland.
After completing a BA(Hons) in Business and Management at Queens University Belfast she worked within the fashion industry for several years. She realised her gifts lay in the therapies and undertook further extensive studies in different branches of complementary, beauty and sport therapies. This remains her first and foremost passion; being introduced to this way of life as a child receiving homeopathic remedies and listening to her grandmother’s stories on natural plant cures.
Carolyn won the National BTEC Awards Outstanding BTEC Beauty & Hospitality Student of the Year in 2012 a prestigious award and the first ever to be won in Northern Ireland.
She is a member of the of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).
